ADMISSIONS SCREENING
Admissions Screening and Shadow Visits for Incoming Students, Grades 1-7:
Once all required application materials have been received, we will schedule individual appointments for both a shadow day and an admissions screening. During the shadow day, prospective students will spend time with peers in their current grade, offering a firsthand experience of daily life at Saint Peter’s School. After the shadow visit, students will return for a separate screening appointment to assess their readiness for our curriculum.
Kindergarten Screening:
Kindergarten screening appointments will be scheduled for April. The results of the screening are used by teachers to assess each child’s academic readiness and to plan instructional strategies that will meet these individual needs. You will receive information about your screening appointment with your enrollment materials.
Preschool Screening:  no screening is required for pre-school students.
ENROLLMENT & ACCEPTANCE POLICY
Saint Peter's School is a parochial school supported by the people of Saint Peter's Parish. Therefore, we must give first preference and consideration to our in-house families and parishioners, based on timely registration. The order in which children will be considered for enrollment will be based on when their completed application is received and the following criteria:
  1. Children who have siblings currently enrolled in Saint Peter's School and who are current with all financial obligations.
  2. Children of registered members of Saint Peter's Parish.
  3. Catholic children of families registered at other Roman Catholic parishes.
  4. Non-Catholic children whose parents desire a Catholic education for them.

We ask the families of students who have special educational needs to consult with us about those needs in order to be certain that our school can adequately serve them.

*Saint Peter’s School does not discriminate on the basis of sex, creed, color, or national origin.
