  • Copies of report cards and testing materials for the current school year and for the previous two years from current school (for students entering grades 1-7)
  • $150 Registration fee (non-refundable if space is available)

SCREENING AND TESTING PROCESS
No screenings are required for pre-kindergarten students.

Kindergarten Screening
Every incoming kindergarten student is screened. Students who are currently enrolled in Saint Peter’s PK4 program are screened as part of the end-of-the year evaluation by the teachers.
Kindergarten students who are new to Saint Peter’s are accepted based on our enrollment policy (see enrollment policy details below) and receipt of all registration materials listed above. A screening appointment is scheduled for early June. The results of the screening are used by teachers to assess each child’s academic readiness and to plan instructional strategies that will meet these individual needs. You will receive information about your screening appointment with your enrollment materials.
Admissions Testing for Incoming Students, Grades 1-7
Once all of the application materials listed above are received and if space is available, an individual appointment for testing will be scheduled. All students are tested as part of the admissions process.

acceptance/enrollment policy

Saint Peter's School is a parochial school supported by the people of Saint Peter's Parish.  It primarily serves the children of parishioners, within the capacity and resources available to the school. Therefore, we must give first preference and consideration to our in-house families and parishioners, based on timely registration. The order in which children will be considered for admission is as follows:
A. Children who have siblings currently enrolled in Saint Peter's School and who are current with all financial obligations. If the number of parishioner sibling applicants exceeds the number of spaces available, consideration for acceptance will be based on all three of the following conditions:
  1. Length of time parents/guardians have been registered in Saint Peter's Parish.
  2. Amount of talent invested by a family through involvement in parish activities.
  3. Regular identifiable contributions of treasure to support Saint Peter's Parish.

B. Children of registered members of Saint Peter's Parish. If the number of applicants exceeds the number of spaces available, consideration for acceptance will be based on the conditions of time, talent, and treasure as stated above in section A.

C. Catholic children of families registered in other parishes without a parochial school and non-Catholic students whose parents desire a Catholic education for them.
Enrollment in Saint Peter's School will then be based on:
  1. Space availability
  2. Age of child
  3. Successful completion of admissions screening
  4. Review of current and previous academic records
  • We ask the families of students who have special educational needs to consult with us about those needs in order to be certain that our school can adequately serve them. .
*Saint Peter’s School does not discriminate on the basis of sex, creed, color, or national origin.
